We are one of 3 mountain cable cars in Kandersteg. Our cable car leads to Sunnbuel (1936 metres above the sea). Here is the starting point for a 3½ hour Gemmi-Hike in the neighbour canton Wallis. Next to the traditional "Gemmiway" offers the Sunnbuel region good high-alpine mountain hikes. In winter the Sunnbuel transforms in a fairy-tale landscape. Skiing, cross-country skiing or also winterhiking is possible from december until april.
In the mountain restaurant Sunnbuel are 120 inside seats and 90 seats on the terrace in the sun available.
We employ 5 full time workers and 4 seasonal workers.
